When I managed truck drivers out of Houston the procedure was to see who gets ticketed for what and speak directly to the driver in person. Every situation is different but anytime a driver recieves a first time ticket they would be suspended or stuck on local deliveries for a week. Any second offense, no matter how small, is fired in the spot. The trucking industry doesn't play around with that shite

Several companies won't even look at an application if that driver has had a ticket within 5 years.

If it was my driver and I see that video I'm bitching him out whether it was his fault or not because chances are I would have already been bitched out myself

Yeah ok, if you say so, I know Walmart does that. I worked for years in a yard of a WM distribution center. moving trailers around.

A high % of these drivers are not well trained, I'm not gonna name companies, I saw their driving skills, or lack of.

That's kind of my point.

As a professional, for a multiude of reasons, you would want to avoid a wreck, at fault or not.


All these guys saying "he had a right" never bought GL insurance.
