Years ago you could go to the duty free shop on the ship and buy a litre and take it with you back to your room. Those were the days. I remember getting on a ship in Puerto Rico and walking past the duty free shop in the terminal that had booze stacked up like pyramids. People were buying several bottles and walking on with them. I bought a couple of $10 litres of absolut and walked them right on
