I've battled it for years. I'm what you would call a "high functioning alcoholic." Both of my parents are also big drunks but have been able to maintain a tier 1 lifestyle despite their alcohol dependency. I plan on eventually fathering kids who will also abuse alcohol but thrive professionally. Rehab/AA is for poor people with a low IQ and terrible philosophys.

Congratulations, you just added nothing to the conversation and still made the side critical of 12-step programs look bad.
