I'm moving in a few weeks and I'm considering Wendler's since I'll be losing my workout partner. What I really like about it is that because you're basing your sets as a percentage of 90% of your max it allows for one to have a safer independent workout. I really hate asking for a spotter and so hopefully I'd only need to get one for the last set on bench to let me push myself.
The past three weeks I have been trying the Wendler's workout for deadlifts and shoulder presses. Thus far, everything feels way too light, but I do like testing myself on the final set.
I suspect that the workout gets much more challenging after about 4-6 months.

I'm in last workout of the 4th 4-week cycle and I have gotten stronger...you are right...you start lower and it feel too light the first couple months but the idea is continued progress over a long period. I'm looking at where I'll be 12 months in. I think I can keepoving forward without having to reset...
