I've lost a lot of respect for him the past few months. I understand his move to A&M was a money grab so I don't begrudge him that at all, but at least be a man about it. I first thought he mishandled this whole ordeal when he was in back room negotiations with A&M when LSU still had a bowl game to prep for (we all see the product he put on the field). Then, when he left, he didn't even tell his own players. Now, he's suing LSU over a contract he breached?

Ordinarily I wish former LSU coaches the best when they leave. This guy can DIAF for all I care.

What is Chavis doing wrong? Remember that you are replying to a Tigerdroppings poster, not to Chavis. Chavis hasn't said much that you can fault him for. He's "being a man". There are a lot of posters on here, however, who - instead of behaving like adults - are making up things to blame on Chavis.

The truth is simple, as a poster laid out above. Chavis left for the opportunity to make more money. Sure, it was probably very painful for him to watch that shite-show of an offense last year, and he might be relieved not to have to witness that again (please dear God none of us do), but that's all secondary to the money - just like for the rest of us.

I get him wanting to coach at a school that scores points. The issues is that his D will see similar number of snaps on the field do to the amount of time that gets run off the clock when the O goes three incompletions and 11 seconds run off the clock.
