I'll pay $12 bucks for a cocktail if it's the best one I've ever had and there's actually some ounces to it. Otherwise I'm drinking wine, beer or straight liquor. Places charging $15 + dollars for 3 sips of a drink, no matter how "creative" or labor-intensive, are taking you for a fricking ride.

I'm not a coffee drinker but I see the prices for shots of coffee over at District Pie and it's just crazy. Even beer is getting out of control. I ordered a Crowd Control to go from the uptown bulldog and it was $7.25. After I tipped I ended up paying $9 for a beer.
