It's a dumb idea. You don't mortgage the future of a franchise on a 36 year old qb. Even if he's a hall of famer.

Denver did it with Manning, with marginal success. It would all depend if the Saints think there is a hall of famer in the making in this years class or next, and they are all but assured of a top 2 or 3 pick to get him.
