I was in the same boat as you some 20 years ago when I was at LSU. Stick with it. Engineers will continue to be in high demand and we can't hire enough of them. Obtaining an engineering degree from LSU isn't easy but will reward you with a great career and a very comfortable life in the future. A healthy balance of social life and studies is needed in college to keep your sanity.

Good luck and don't give up. It will come.

Yep you gotta rack your brain to get the engineering degree but that degree is gold right now. My company also is hiring them as interns then right after straight up the corporate ladder. Starting at about 80 k/yr not to bad and after that six figures the rest of the way.

I'm maintaining about a 3.5, but because I don't really care for the classes, I tend to crash study.
