Sounds like any of the three mentioned will meet your needs. I would own any one of them.


I would probably have to give the Pathfinder the edge over the other 2 on overall quality of boat. The pathfinder will certainly carry the highest price of those three.

I think it will just come down to prefence.

Do you have dealers in close proximity of where you will be storing the boat? Having a close dealer for service work so you don't have to haul the thing across the state would be a factor for me.

Jerry's Marine, here in sulphur, sells and services the Nautic Star and Blue Wave. The Pathfinder dealer and service center is in Beaumont (hour away). Didn't even think about that.

I don't have much to chime in, but the guys I know who fish out of pathfinders are fairly serious about the sport.

The two guys I know with blackjacks are filthy rich and the boats just hang in the slips all year, never used.

I see a few nautic stars her and there, yet I've never had the opportunity to ride in one. I just sold an 1801 Parker which was a hellova right. The 4 stroke yammy 115 was a beast and never gave me any problems.
