Honestly I think Cjjs best coaching job as far as in game situations was his first season. He got more out of that roster than expected. Last year was a let down even though we took the step forward to the NIT because we should have been a tourny team. This year we have to wait and see.

I understand trying to be a players coach and let them work out some kinks but when teams go on multiple 10-12-0 runs you have to use a timeout. especially if they are coming because we are turning it over or getting complacent with taking bad outside shots. If we were soundly in the tourny right now then alot of the nit picks about his in game coaching would go away.

Oh, I agree heartbreak. Those are head scratchers. I think there are way too many timeouts allotted in basketball considering you already get 4 per half for t.v.

But if you have them, those are the situations to use them.

Now this end of the game stuff with all the timeouts..... maddening. My old high school coach used to tell us,"y'all know what to do, we practice situationals all the time". Plus if you play on you don't give the other team time to situationally substitute, set up and match up defensively.
