You mean like every other p5 conference program? No team wins without talent. Not one.

Agreed. The difference is the evaluation of coaching talent with the age-old "can he take yours and beat his" question. In my estimation Jones is light years away from being a Xs & Os or strategic coach. If this opinion is correct, it will take overwhelmingly good talent to overcome this disadvantage. If Jones can consistently recruit to that level, and Alleva and the fan base can live with that, then JJ's the right guy. I don't think he can consistently recruit to that level.

Time will tell.

He said "talent advantage", not just "talent.

Some coaches can win even if they don't have the most talent on the court.
