Yep, like usual the truth is in-between the cops report and the kids version. the kid did something stupid and should have probably just gotten a ticket and maybe a trip to drunk tank for a while. Instead the cop over reacts, and goes all hulk mode on a non threat. He would have been fine just getting a little rough with the kid in arresting him but smashing his face in crossed over into unprofessional.

Cops seem to have an issue about level of threat and their safety. The other kids are probably lucky he didn't start going pew pew pew pew on them for standing around.

They use the excuse to explain all of their wrongful actions.

Kids can tell what they want. Cops should walk away. It's not illegal to yell. Cops took the bait but they are the "trained" ones.
