well as a cop part of the job is handling stress. I don't think anyone would believe that isn't part of the job. Since it is part of the job you are expected to make the correct decisions and even when you don't you aren't suppose to go all rage mode on a suspect.
Id suggest better training and more training once they leave the academy. when you are charged with up holding the laws of the land and protecting citizen you have to be held to a higher standard.

The kid probably didn't do himself any favors but I doubt a bunch of kids started swinging on cops like the officer claims. If a judge reads the officers report and and doesn't roll his eyes in disgust then our problems are far worse than shitty training.
