I read an article about this one time in PopSci. The author said it was a very odd feeling at first but he started enjoying it. Apparently you lose all concept of time.

i went once. it was pretty cool experience. it felt both like a day in there and 10 minutes. It was hard to get settled.

I have a 90 minute float I just bought through groupon in denver. COuldn't turn down $25.

I have a friend who gets one paired with a massage every month. He says it brings him to new levels of relaxation.

I had some friends go to one in Dallas recently.

One said he saw himself flying through space.

They both said that they had the best sleep ever the night afterwards as well. 20+ hours of sleep, never waking up.

One time these doctors cut off every sense of an old man and he ended up talking to God. It sucked tho because God abandoned us. Whomp whomp.

My wife and I did a session at the one in Metairie and it was very cool, better than expected and difficult to explain. It was even trippy at times.

I sat in an auditory and visual isolation chamber for some tests for work. The attendant had to walk away for something, and in the meantime I sat in complete silence and darkness. Hearing and seeing nothing is strange. Your brain will make up stuff to replace the nothingness.

I go to one about 1-2 times a month. Once you get over the weirdness it's extremely calming. I have 2 tournaments this week and will likely visit the pod on Monday. They can set water pressure to "massage" injuries. Love for my lower back and neck.
