Williams is def the No. 2 back! Don't know how others can say Guice or any incomin frosh would be No. 2?? Big difference going from HS to college ball as Fournette found out. Besides, it will be a nice change of pace from Fournette's power mixed with elusiveness style. Williams is pretty much a all power back.
1. Yea Guice is an incoming freshman. So were LF and DWill last year. And they didnt have troubles paassing up uppcerclassmen on the depth chart. And we only have 2 scolarship RBs on the roster, LF and DWill. And they are sophmores. Obviously LF is a lock to be the man next year, but its not like we have experienced upperclassmen at the RB spot right now. And DWill only had 64 carries last season.

2. Do you really think DWill will be a nice change of pace from LF? Because they are both big, downhill running, powerful running backs. Sure LF is faster and has some more shake in his game, but they have similar styles of running. Guice is a better complement to both of them. And I said DWill will be LFs backup. But Guice may get more carries due to his versatilty and the fact that hes a different look at the RB spot than LF or DWill. We are losing Magee and I see Guice stepping in at that role.

3. And you said how going to college ball is a big difference from high school, lie LF found out... You do realize that LF had over 1,000 yards last year and averaged 5.53ypc as a true freshamn.... Sure, it took him a few games to get it going but I would say he had a pretty quick transition from high school to college. And was our best player on offense and was the reason we won some games like UF, Ole Miss, TAMU. And was the only reason we had a chance in the bowl game. Im a huge DWill fan and love his running style. Hes an excellent fit in our offense. But I also think people are remembering what he did vs bad opponents. Vs SEC teams, he averaged 3.9ypc.

And look I think hes a good RB and this isnt bashing him at all. Hes a physical RB that is tough to take down. Not that explosive or agile, and thats ok because thats not his game. But I really dont think hes a change of pace from LF. Guice is. Magee was. DWill... not so much.

And DWill could be the RB2 on the depth chart next year, but that doesnt mean he will get the 2nd most carries on the team. LF will be getting most of the carries, as he should. And I think DWill will be LFs back up. But the larger role is the Magee role and thats where I think Guice fits in.

Were loaded at RB. And im pretty sure all of them will get work. Depending on the game plan and our opponent, everyones role but LF will change. Were stacked with some really good RBs that bring a lot to the table for us. And cant forget about the guys opening up the holes for the RBs... we have a stacked RB group + a flat out NASTY OL. Should be fun to watch

Man, you just misinterpreted everything I said. But as usual y'all see what you wanna. Yeah, Fournette ran fo a 1,000, but he still had to get used to the speed of the game early on as they were truckin his arse in the beginning. And it took more than a few games. lol But like a good back is supposed he caught on and came on second half of the season. I expect no less from the other incomin freshman. Once they catch on they'll be okay.

I do. Williams is a plodder. Will wear down a defense with his power running. Fournette will hit the holes quick and get in the secodary before you know it. Then use his speed and elusiveness to run by you or use power to run you over.

different backs.
