Wow are you serious? So no way they can just remove it and he's back to normal?

My friend had a brain tumor removed and it came back worse in her spine about ten years later

Yes, it can be removed. He has an excellent chance of survival. My friend had brain cancer as a kid. That was probably 30 years ago and no more cancer. Has to test every year. He does have permanent damage. That's the overall good news.

You know the worst possible news. The less bad news is that there are ramifications. Will probably suffer seizures if he survives, which has effects few people know about, but for the most part are tolerable.
