Maryland v. Michigan State do people watch regular season women's college basketball?

This game is on ESPN2 now. I can't for the life of me figure out who in the hell is watching and does ESPN actually make money off of games like this?

I mean there are diehard Michigan State and Maryland fans who would watch, but the Big Ten Network has a show on about Michigan basketball and no live game. You would figure the BTN would show this and ESPN2 would pass on Maryland v. MSU women's hoops.

Am I missing something here?

I'm not totally misogynistic about this. I'd watch uconn or Baylor from a few years ago or pat summit Tennessee or something. But Maryland-Michigan state regular season? Wow

I've watched women's basketball, and I've read this thread. Watching women's basketball is way better.

I get suckered into watching the last few minutes of ulm women's games sometimes if they're playing before the men. My god its awful.
