But seriously, as an old guy entering the hospitality biz, the most important thing you need is decent footwear. Arch support is key. Dansko makes supporting, nonslip shoes (not just clogs)....if you can't handle that look, get some damn good orthotics. Your feet (and knees and back) will huuurrrttt.
