If so, how much do you pay? And does your dog like it? Do you take your dog there everyday or just a couple times a week?

Yes. It's called a fenced-in backyard.

We did it everyday for about 2 years. It was about 350-400 a month I think. Yes, that is insane.

Now he goes 1-2 times a week and the GF goes home to check on him at lunch.

Our dog is a rescue who is quirky and untrusting (golden retriever). Once we got him in his routine and he grew to like the people there we had trouble changing it.

Crate your dog and let it sleep all day. Jog a couple of miles with the dog when you get home. Dog is happy. You get exercise and get to keep a couple hundred bucks a month.

I bring my dog to Camp Bow Wow about once a week so she can socialize and have some fun out of the house. It's only like $20 for the entire day and she loves it.

Why not have your dog crate trained and they are in the crate during the day? That's what most people with m-f 9-5 type jobs do with their dogs.

Or their dogs have a doggie door to access. We do a combo of both whenever we leave the house. Pug goes in his kennel, lab has free roam and uses doggie door.

Doggie daycares are great but everyday seems excessive and pricey.

My dog stays home and guards the house. That's how she earns her room and board.

Once a week, usually on days when we have something to do that night, or on a day I can't come home for lunch. They love it, and are exhausted when they get home. And it's good for socialization.

Yes, I do. It cost me $1500. One time fee. I get to use it when she's not using it. Here's a picture of what she looks like for roughly 8-12 hours/day at "daycare."

Hint: she doesn't go to daycare. She sleeps her lazy arse on the couch all day and night

Yup I try to twice a week for my dogs. They love going and daycare is really good for socializing your dog with other dogs and new people.

Our first dog was a rescue and daycare played a large part in ridding her of her fear aggression.

Never taken my dog to any kind of dog day care, but more power to you if you can afford it.

I'm fortunate to have a fenced in backyard and a dog door. He lets himself in and out whenever he wants. It's awesome.

As for him getting lonely getting a second dog helped with that. I just started keeping my girlfriends dog all the time. She's my fiancé now so it all worked out. Our dogs are best friends and hated being apart after spending weekends together when we first started dating. Then her dog started escaping his fenced in area at her house so it just made sense to leave him with me. I've had her dog for over two years now hahaha
