No, Bama fills their quota early. THat's the only program that does so on a regular basis.

Typically we sit around 18 and know most others with a degree of certainty.

That's actually really good come January.

Interesting that with these comments about the Bama early commits, saw yesterday that Saban wants to slow it down this year and not take so many early commits. Wants to hold off on some fringe kids and continue evaling and going for the kids they really want.

I like the way we do it. Think some years(like 14 and this year) our staff would prefer to get kids committed early but overall they do tend to pick the guys they want and wait them out. After that they hone in on the next wave and grab those. I like it. These days the early commit is so meaningless that they are just fan fodder anyway. Still have yo recruit them like they aren't committed.
