I sure hope so. I cringe and get scared every time he has to come on the field

There will be a competition in camp.
We just need a leg to step up!

He was 19/22 last year. Not bad.

I really wanted us to pick up that Roberto Aguayo kid from Fla. St. But he decided to stay in college another year.

We can always use a late round pick on Michael Hunnicutt from Oklahoma

But the Saints have to be within 40 yards for him to even get an attempt. Otherwise, they are going for it from the 34 or punting because his leg is weaker than a wet noodle.

Out of all of the kickers that attempted 20 or more FGs last year, our noodle legged kicker made the least amount of 40+ yd field goals.

So he's basically the Bizarro Morten Anderson.

Yeah upside is he is damn near automatic from 40 in, but if we keep him we really need to keep a second kicker for longer attempts.

On par with what Payton puts out for STs. I think we had one decent leg his entire tenure here and it was Hartley's SB year. I'm convinced the ST coach sucks Payton off or something because that dude can do no wrong.

Two good choices. Thought the kid from fsu would come out. You wonder how high a kicker can go these days?

Congrats, he's automatic from 20-39. He pretty much sucks beyond that, 4-7 from 40+.

We don't even attempt a kick outside of 39 yards with him.

Exactly why the percentage is irrelevant. We had to go for it on 4th when most kickers could make the attempts
