Titleist 915 D3 Drivers (board opinions please)

Titleist rep was in our shop today when I was hitting the range at lunch. had the 915 D3 club brand new to demo. it had a 70 weight aldila S shaft in it (Rogue)...I think its a very stock model.
I gave it a whirl on the range and really like the feel. I was swinging well today and hit most very well. I had it set at 9.5 degrees neutral and even my purest shots were a bit too high. I'm a natural high ball hitter but these were a bit too high. I was talking to our Director of golf and he swings the same one but with a different shaft--a bit lighter and stiffer without being an X flex. Also said maybe Rep said maybe an 8.5 would make a difference too. I"m going to go to the range tomorrow with our director of golf and hit his with the other shaft in. if I can get a little better ball flight with it I may buy one. love the feel of the club and the ball was moving when I hit it on the screws. a lot less torque on my back from the sledgehammer I've been swinging.
What are ya'lls thoughts on the club?

haven't hit that one, but I have the 913 D2 and I love it

I don't like the look at address.
The 913 looks leaner, and meaner.
I've got the 913 D3 8.5°

the look at address felt great to me. no problems. I think getting the right loft and shaft dialed in may make me spend dat $$$

8.5 with an X stiff would be good for you.

I like all the new Titleist Drivers coming out. However with that said I will not give up my TaylorMade R11 until it physically breaks. Best Driver Ive ever had.

Those reduced RPM's have me wondering.

I'm trying to get away from Xstiff. my director of golf says he has a shaft that is stiffer than the S one I hit today, so its a between a S/X which is what I need. My back will never heal swinging that sledge. I was whipping that D3 through slot with effortless impunity baws.

See if you can try it with an Ahina. Should lower ball flight.
As far as the driver, they're maxed out. Find the one you like. Personally, I can't justify a $500 club I swing a maximum of 14 times a round.

Titleist makes solid drivers. I got the 915 F 18 degree with that Aldilla Rogue S shaft. Very good fairway wood as well.
Personally, I think there are better drivers out there for my likes than the 915. If you're going to drop $400-$500 on a driver, I'd look around at everything and get fitted. Callaway is making some legit drivers, and I've heard the new Ping driver is legit as well.

I hit my Cobra Bio Cell, then turned around and hit the Ping G30 side by side. The G30 was easily 20 yards longer. Everyone I play with have switched to the G30 and all love it.

I had the Bio Cell Pro last year for a month but just never could get it going. Switched to Big Bertha Alpha and it's worked great for me. Swinging it real well lately.

I tried it at Uclub. Wasn't bad...
I ended up getting the R15 430 with a Matrix Black Tie 6m3 tipped .5 and inch.

That's what I saw him say....I assumed they hadn't hit demo stores yet. I would like to hit one before making a switch.

I'd like to at least see it on a monitor.
