IMO all electronics should be switched by the Perko.
If you overniting, sure leave it on, Batt A or whatever.
But to have it ALWAYS on is only gonna run your batteries down, and a possible short, by always being hot to the float switch.
No way I would have mine "always" on. Dats crazy.
Sitting at the house you want it always on ?

I agree about the Perko switch. Last year I was having problems with something drawing my cranking battery down. That ended up causing the stator to go out, which led to some additional problems. Never did figure out what was drawing the batteries down, but ended up installing a Perko which solved my problem.
