I hit when Im there:

Bella Fresca
Chianti
Franks Pizza Neopolitan

Mabry House is awesome, for old school upscale dining.

2Johns & Village Grill are best "steak houses." Village Grill has other prime meats too. Anthonys may have the best steak, but is in a bad neighborhood and provides your atmosphere w checkered tablecloths and a salad bar. The Cub has a good steak.... but is a small dive attached to a bar. Stay away from Superior, joint to be seen - food is not "superior."

Superior Mexican or Oyster Bar for mex. Shreves Superior is "superior" to BR & NOLAS.

Folks will tell u Twisted Root... And its good for a drink, but food is horrible. They went beyond my 3 strikes ur out clause.

Try a Red River Brewing "Hay-Ryed" while ur up there

Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so much. Franks looks particularly legit.
