I may be selling this upper soon and need some advice on pricing it...

-Colt flat top upper receiver
-Daniel defense Lite 7.0 rail
-14.5" Rainer barrel pinned to 16" (1/7" twist)
-It doesn't have a forward assist (I've never used a forward assist so not sure its purpose)
-About 250-300 rounds through it

The DD rail alone appears to be $340 new. The upper looks to be $150 new. The barrel + muzzle break appear to be $250-300 new. Is $500 asking too much?

So @$740 retail for a new setup. If I was a buyer I would price out using lowest found prices which I would bet I could find them for at least 15% ($630+ shipping = $675)of that retail price and then offer about half. I'd start at $350 and would not go over $450 before I would just go with a new set up. Warranties matter to me and is a big reason that if I were to buy used parts I would have to get a very good deal. Good luck.

I've had terrible luck recently trying to sell uppers. That damn BCM sale is killing the secondary market.

If I was selling it, that's probably what I would ask. If I was buying, I'd offer $400.

I would hold fast at $500 fwiw, it only takes one person who really wants it.

List it for what you want but I'd expect it to sell for $350-400. Sounds like a very quality set up but between being a frankenstein and the BCM/Palmetto sales it's tough to sell a used upper.
