Anyone nauseated by the constant "GOAT" or "Elite" QB Discussions?

I think it's the male equivalent to women arguing about fashion which reality star is the biggest "bitch."
For one, it's subjective and there is no final, definitive answer, that's why the subject never dies.
There is no established criteria, just perpetual arguments. Football is a team sport, and the other 50 something players and coaches and ownership play a significant role. You can not fairly compare eras, even a few years ago. Rules change, strategies change and that effects head to head comparisons.
Yes, it's pretty clear some are better than others, and in general winning multiple Super Bowls correlates pretty well to other indicators of success--same with passing yards etc.
Why can't we say who had the better career? That you can look at pretty well. Who is best? One will never know.
End Rant.

Drew Brees owns the highest completion percentage ever.
Drew Brees has more career yards than Brady.
Drew Brees has more career touchdowns than Brady.
Drew Brees played for significantly worse teams than Tom Brady.
Is Drew Brees greater than Tom Brady? This is why arguing sports is fun.
