re: "Run Like a Girl"

I have identical twins. Beautiful 10-year-old girls.
I have them focused on doing their own best. Not comparing themselves to other kids, and especially boys. At least, I try.

When they do something really well, I give them a sly grin, a fist pump and say, "not bad, for a girl"

"Thanks dad!!"


I've made doing things like a girl be a compliment. I hope it gives them strength down the road.
