End of the year and coaching hires was exhausting. But now things are getting exciting because of the recruiting. Can't wait to see who we get and get these kids on the field.

Not really. Once I turned 30 and saw 2003 and 2007 championship years I was good. I look at it as 18-21 year old kids playing a game on Saturday's. 12-15 years ago, it was my life.

Let's focus on basketball season first. Then we'll worry about football. 10 wins is our max anyway, because that is LSUs glass ceiling as long as Miles is still running his old fashioned offense.

Offense 10% better, Defense 10% better. but not good enough to not lose 3 games. Not optimistic. but yes excited!'

after looking at steele's history, i see nothing on his resume that makes me think the defense will maintain elite status, no matter how many great players we trot out there. but i'll still enjoy the lsu football experience.

hopefully i'm wrong and he's a better coach now than in the past. saban certainly has improved since he left lsu. but that's a thin sliver of hope. with chavis, we knew that at the end of the season, lsu would have had a top 3 defense.

no qb and a coach too stubborn to change with the times. How can you be excited?
