How long will LSU and BR turn a blind eye to the trash north of campus?

There was a student robbed at gunpoint in the Hart Lot area. What's new? That's a common occurrence. It happened around 6pm. I might get midnight but 6pm is insane. LSU needs to throw some weight around and clean up the trash. I guess they'll really get serious about it the day after a student is murdered at 6pm in the Hart Lot.

dude, don't waste this on a Friday night crew
post it on a weekday and we'll get at least 3 PMs, maybe a ban or 2

Hipsters need to gentrify that area. They're pretty good at that.

hopefully the water campus will change things

It will take a few tailgaters getting shot up during football season for them to make any changes.

And just what specifically do you have in mind?

I thought they started cleaning house already in that area

As soon as the "right people" own the property that is to be developed using subsidized monies.
Congressman Garrett Graves's brother in law is appointed as the real estate agent of all those properties slated to be built for the water district. He doesn't even live in Louisiana.

move all the trash to North Lafayette where they belong.

I have always wondered why it is taking so long for "the bottom" to become gentrified. It is just not happening. With all the money tied to LSU donors that is available for real estate development, they still allow that whole stretch on either side of Highland Road to look like Detroit. I don't get it. Buy all that shite up and send those folks elsewhere.

when will lsu finally admit that the university of louisiana is a better college and take it's place as a directional school?

If you build a Starbucks, wealthier people will come

If LSU said they needed a dime to clean up the are north of campus I would tell them to get bent.
Protect the campus yourself, don't ask me for help. I really don't care if the freeloading students get help, they aren't paying taxes.

There is a truly insane amount of money being poured into that neighborhood in new investments. The trash will get priced out in the next few years

LOL
I love how people talk about how north side of canpus is going downhill. They should have been around there in the late 90s early 00s. The place was a dump and had not a tenth of the money and development it has now.

I just don't get how this could happen in a gun free zone.

An LSU student was killed during a robbery outside bar on north side of campus when I was at school. I think she had 5 bucks on her.
Fricking human debris.
