Littling there little by little. Dam heat is taking it's toll on me.

Front porch, I have the joist down and as of today, all the post up.

After that, I had to resaw some beams. I had sawed them at 6.5"x 6.5". Reason, just in case they would go wild. Sure as shite, one did. Had a hook of about 3/8". No biggie, I needed them at 5.5".

So nice not having to push the saw head. Tim Allen said, "More Power".

Those beams are 14'6" long and out of oak. Very heavy and I think I screwed the pooch again.

Anyway, moved them under the carport with a big fan blowing, I lay them out, then painted the saw cuts. That helps the beam from checking(crack).

Just maybe I will get them installed tomorrow. JB and coke will have a saying in that tonight.

Finished the baby crib today and expecting baby girl later this week or next. Only thing left is to find a way to cover the bolt heads that stick out.

Also built a changing table for her.
