Don't get me wrong, I'm sure some 23 year olds make very costly bad decisions.

But generally speaking, his bad decisions are costing him more than the average 23 year old making bad decisions. He has more at stake, more to lose, than the average 23 year old drinking it up.

The 23-year olds who drive drunk and kill others or themselves, or the ones who accidently get themselves or others pregnant, or the ones who screw and around fail out of college may lose more than Josh over the long run--and I don't mean money.
