Why not? It's a fun experience you aren't getting in any other city. The list says iconic, and that burger is most certainly fitting of that term.

Of course it isn't the best burger in town, but that isn't what iconic means.

Its a damn good burger but I agree with your point. This is the reason I would definitely take off the brisket and put on a shrimp poboy from parkway or even Roman Candy salt water taffy. That is most certainnly iconic.

Because I can get a good burger in most places and I don't think the experience is so great that I'd select it over getting a good poboy somewhere, for example. Living there, I went to PoC quite often. Wonderful "after a long night" place to go.

I don't think you can argue the merit of anything on this.
