Darcy has no business being on the court in an SEC game. I know that Robinson isn't really ready, but I feel like there is no way that he would be any less of a presence in the paint than Darcy is for the 2-3 minutes that we need him to play. Plus, on top of that what better way to gain experience and in shape for next year than by actually getting some PT?

It's really like playing 4 on 5 with Darcy while we're on offense.

I absolutely LOATHE this Rantarded argument. It is Brandon Harris, Part 2. If the dude isn't ready, then the dude isn't ready. What is so hard to understand about that? I have a feeling the coaches want to worry about winning right now…and letting next year come as it will.

Darcy scored the very first bucket last night on a great back door play. To be honest, if he stopped fouling like crazy on defense, he would probably get more minutes. He really is skilled. He needs to be better rebounding and catching passes cleanly, but the same can be said about Udoh and ER3.

Darcy is one of our best defenders in the paint. He affects and contests every shot in close. He is a difference maker. Learn more about basketball.

If we are only going to play guys that won't hurt us too bad against SEC teams then we should only play:
Gray
Patterson
Hornsby
TQ
Martin
Mickey

It's all about the feet w Darcy. He must continue to work on his quickness. It affects everything in the game. He can't quite get to the spot defensively and he can't hold his man out when he does block out. He gave up two big offensive rebounds late when he had a chance to secure the ball. He needs to keep playing and absorb some of the early fouls M&M were picking up. Epps is very raw just like Elbert.
