For those of you that workout in the morning before work, how long before you have to be at the gym do you wake up?
15 minutes. 5 to get ready, 10 to drive to gym.

What do you do to wakeup and have energy to workout?
Get dressed, drive to gym.

Tips? Suggestions?
It'll be tough at first, especially if you're unaccustomed to waking early. But once you get in the habit of morning workouts, it becomes routine. I would advise not eating before your workout. I believe it's been shown that early-morning exercise in the "fasting state" burns more fat (if you're into that sort of thing) than exercising after eating. Also, food is better absorbed post-workout.

I wake up at 7:30 mostly everyday and it has never got easier.
