I understand back in the day of silent movies and stuff where the black face make up was offensive, but today someone cannot wear black face make up to a Halloween party and offend someone.

I bet you 90% of the black community today doesn't even know why it is offensive.

No one gets offended when white people wear it in the Zulu parade.

Try this theory out. Go to the 9th ward in black-face and tell us how it goes.

There is no black community.

But I encourage you to find the nearest black neighborhood and galavant around in blackface for a solid day. Report back when you do

I'm black and you offend me just by asking this.

Black people are more sensitive about stuff like this than white folks. Happy?

Then again, maybe as a people they've had to endure just a little bit of bullshite that we haven't, don't you think? Just a little?

Because Americans have turned into a bunch of pussies that wander around looking for things to be offended by so they can scream at the top of their keyboards on social media.

Do you really have to ask that question? It's funny that everything offends them, yet it's ok for them to do offensive stuff, amirite?

Because some people want to keep up the tradition of being offended by it, or at least pretending to be.

I generally agree that rational reasons disappeared long ago.

I went to halloween as Martha's Vineyard Obama a few years ago and got a lot of hateful looks. I had a mask on though

I went all black face when I dressed as Lil Jon for Halloween a few years. I went to several bars and parties with plenty of black people. No one seemed offended. In fact, I actually have pictures with black people that thought it was hilarious.
