I think I might have a pinched nerve. My lower back to my left leg. Hurts to walk but can move my leg up and down side to side. Can feel the pain though when I put pressure on my left leg or have it resting in a weird way. Never had one before so just wondering what anyone's experience was or had similar issues

It can be a minor nuisance or it can be unbearable. Most of the time it goes away by itself eventually. Sometimes you need surgery.

I was diagnosed with a pinched nerve once. I fell asleep sitting up sideways ( if that makes sense) and couldn't feel my legs for a day. No pain, though.

Could be sciatica. Check the web for exercises for sciatica. I had a pinched nerve in my neck and my mid upper back and left forearm felt like they were on fire 24/7.

Not quite enough here to tell you what's going on. What were you doing at the time?

Nerve ("radicular" is the describer that will make Google useful to you) pain is usually very sharp, shooting, and transient. You can lose sensation around the area, too. It's not usually very responsive to opiates or NSAIDs

Every 6 months or so, I'll somehow pinch a nerve in my neck after looking to the left suddenly. It friggin' sucks, and it hurts like hell for 2-3 days.

Sounds like you might have sciatica.

It can vary by a lot. My mother had her sciatic nerve pinched and she was in agonizing pain and could barely walk until she had surgery to correct it. She was walking again with near zero pain minutes after surgery.

For you it could just need a chiropractor.

Dam you are dumb. Besides your crappy threads, you don't think about anything.

Every person reacts differently to pain. What is severe pain to you could be minor to someone else. You could have a very small pinched nerve. You may have a ruptured disk.

If you can't walk a doctor should be in your future, but I doubt you see a dr. I will predict this ailment will soon be cured and we will see another crappy thread from you soon.

If it hurts from your hip down a leg it sounds like an inflamed Sciatic Nerve.

It can be the worst pain ever if bad enough.Pain meds usually don't help with nerve pain.

Take an anti-inflamatory;Alleve(naproxin) or Ibuprophen.

I got stuck in the sciatic nerve with a back injection.Probably the worst pain I've ever experienced, for 49 days.
