Confirm the subwoofer output on the receiver is active. There's likely a setting that says Subwoofer: Yes or No (On or Off) and a corresponding crossover frequency.
Change the switch from Auto to On
Try the speaker level inputs
If using only one line level input, put it in the Left/LFE port.
