If he just gave short cliche answers they wouldn't want to talk to him. Also if he didn't do shite like grabbing his crotch they wouldn't want to talk to him either.
Not sure if it has been mentioned but I heard he has two marketing campaigns centered around not talking to the media.

He has done skittles and progressive commercials that were released this week, centered around press conference themes. More power to him, he figured out a way to market himself.
