Is this where you switch from "he's violating the agreement" to "yeah whatever he's still a douchebag"?

He's certainly violating the spirit of the agreement. It's ridiculous. How are you missing this?

You think they care if the game is grown in positive light ?!??
Yes. See the Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson situations.

Not that I think that argument applies here.

yes, he is.

At least you're arguing that he's violating the "spirit" of the agreement, and not the agreement itself. Took you long enough.

If you want to start throwing shite at people that violate the "spirit" of contracts and rules, there is going to be shite everywhere.

Didn't you just argue that he's violating a written agreement, only to backtrack within 20 posts to say that he's violating the "spirit" of the agreement? And you're accusing me of missing something. Funny.

Your "did he speak to the media today" question still hasn't been answered

Because he knows that Marshawn honored the terms of the agreement by speaking to the media. Now the argument is that he violating the "spirit" of the contract.

If the NFL could fine him for violating the "spirit" of the agreement, then they would have done so already. He isn't violating the agreement, end of story.

Belichick violates the "spirit" of the injury reporting rules every week.

And no one makes a big deal of it, because it isn't. People just laugh at it. I think Brady has been on the injury report since rookie training camp.

When and why did this start?

Did he do this when he was in Buffalo?

At first it was funny, but now its just gotten old. If you really hate the media, give them dry cliche answers. Make the media bored of interviewing you, he is just adding more fuel to the fire.

Was cool at first. Just annoying now. Making him seem immature.

I didn't think it was the Seahawks that were forcing him to do interviews. The fines come directly from the NFL, correct? It is the NFL policy forcing him to talk, not his team. His team demands he shows up and plays.

The Seahawks and the NFL are not separate entities unless you are talking for tax purposes

You sign a Seahawks contract with a big NFL logo at the top of it. You sign up for their rules and regulations

I can't think of anything more boring for a journalist than asking a guy questions but getting the same exact answer every time, no matter the question.

They should have asked questions like:

"What brings you here today?"

"What are you avoiding by being here?"

"Who is here to avoid being fined?"

"Where should you be to avoid being fined?"

"Excellent Marshawn. Thanks for accommodating everyone today."

Or ask him who would win, Mike Tyson or Ali. Or who would win, a pack of raptors or one t-rex.

Ask him something he wants to talk about and you'll get your quotes.

This was probably his most honest media session in some time.

He's taking it one game at a time and he's excited for the opportunity to play in the superbowl. They're going against a tough opponent and it's got to be a battle. They'll be ready to go out there and execute the game plan.

I prefer what Lynch does over other athletes recycling the same cliches 90% of the time.

"We just have to take it one play one game at a time. We had to execute. It was a team effort."

Etc. etc.

They shouldn't cover him at all. Just not mention anything he does.
