A 44:00 10K will generally put you in the Top 500 finishers of the CCC.

That's pretty good, IMO.

I don't think I could have held that pace for that long! When we were stationed in MD, there was an excellent loop on base that was exactly 5.5 miles with small to moderate hills. My best time on that was 48 minutes. Not exactly that pace, but then again it also had small to moderate hills. But, I don't think I could have made a 44:00 10K.
