This is true, but business go up and around the campus because of this. They aren't relying on broke college students to make the payday, they are relying on the 30% increase of sales in the fall directly related to the football games.

It is the loss of 1 home game---and if a business is banking on their survival one 8 home games instead of 7 each year that business is in trouble.
