I'm not worried about not getting hired. If I don't fit, I don't fit. I'm worried about making it awkward to do business there in the future. I wouldn't take my business elsewhere, but I don't want to make it awkward for them.

Who cares if it's awkward? You're just doing business with them.

What type of workplace is it? Is it a place where they could intentionally/unintentionally give you bad service?
