I would also say that I don't think every action goodell takes is in the best interest of the league...I think a lot of times it is in the best interest of his ego. I'm referring to player conduct policy mostly before people come in with the bountygate sour grapes BS.

Definitely. Goodell has always wanted to be in the limelight; and viewed as a league innovator
