Why did he point the gun at his wife in the end before he left for the range with the troubled vet? Was that to somehow show that he could laugh at his own self for having been on the edge with his PTSD? I would never expect a vet like Kyle to do something like that, and I'm not sure why Cooper and Eastwood would send the character out like that....

Hell, I was half expecting a "BOOM!" flag to pop out of the damn thing, to be honest...

It could be. Personally I thought he was just gonna play cowboys and Indians with his kids until he signaled them to be quiet.

I hated that part!

there is no way someone like him would walk around with his finger on the trigger and ever point a weapon, loaded or not, without the intention of pulling that trigger.


Loved the movie, but that part was horrible
