Daube gravy?

Anybody got a good recipe?

Somebody post grandmas recipe.

If you never heard the term, it's basically a beef roast, slow cooked in a tomato sauce.

Daube I found something, but I'm not prepared to do all the herbs and marinating this time. Might try it another time though. Looks really good.

I just basically cubed a chuck roast, seared it in a Dutch oven and now I'm slow cooking it in a tomato sauce. Should be real tender at dinner time.

Would like to see some old NOLA recipes for a good daube.

I've made the Saveur recipe many times with good results.
