Did you want an armored unit?
Funny story, I was suppose to go to Ft Knox, the Ft Irwin, then I got orders to Campbell. Funny how things work out.

Did you go through when the desert phase was still around?

Yes sir, '91. I don't know when they got rid of it but I always thought it was dumb when everything was happening there and still is.

Darth,
I got nothing.
Other than fearing the E-4 mafia and the vain attempts to squash it, to wishing enlisted members wouldn't write their sworn statements in crayon or the "big pencil". Hooked on Phonics would have worked wonders for so many of my soldiers
I kid, I kid

Some dick (or dicks) have been going through and down voting since I started this thread. Obviously someone has a small pee pee and is jealous of us 1%ers

Yep you can. Especially if you are a west pointer. I had a new cadet complain to me bc he had too much sweat in his eyes and didn't know what to do and panicked. This was during their cadet basic training while learning how to group and zero their m16's.

I forgot to add I'm currently a reservist and will be going to my first drill in February. Hoping to become a commissioned officer in the reserve and start occupational therapy school next year. My favorite part of my four years was obviously basic training. I thought it was fun especially when the drill sergeants called me old dude. My other favorite was spending my full summer at West Point providing medical coverage for the cadets summer training. Unfortunately that left me with no opportunity to lift or run, but man West Point cadets are interesting especially when they go through usma's version of basic training. I never had the chance to go to any schools other than EFMB but I decided to go to West Point. I think I could have earned that badge but c'est la vie.
