This was my first season ever duck hunting. Had a blast however after opening weekend(first split) bird got very scarce. Last few weekends have netted 0's.

not bad, in the scheme of things...it does make me a little sad to see each season getting progressively worse than the last, though...

I am afraid without something turning around pretty sharply over the next few years, duck hunting will be a thing of the past for me...

About the same as last year.

I go both days of every weekend and sometimes during the week. There just does not seem to be as many ducks as the mid to late 1990s. The decline began around 2000. But each year they say breeding conditions are excellent and duck numbers are good and the liberal season is retained. But I am just not seeing the ducks like I used to.

The rise in popularity of duck hunting with the overcrowding and sky busting by the newbies is not helping matters either.

One of my better seasons and it was fun making out a tally sheet for the Waterfowl Contest every hunt. My buddies thought I was a wingnut for doing it though.

Still got 2 hunts left then I will break out my camera and start taking pictures. It's honestly more fun with my camera.

I had no water until the last two or three weeks of the season so zero ducks for me.

Slow, but ended on a high note last weekend.

Had high hopes. The battle of trespassers when we got good water really left me unhappy

Slow year for me as usual.

I had a few ducks here and there at my new pond that I leased.

My farm in Arkansas was slow and has been declining each year.

Next year I plan to have my pond planted and layed out a little better to hopefully maximize the birds. I also plan to target geese at my farm since they are always there.

Now that I have a kid, I dont let the lack of ducks bother me. I go hunting rain or shine and just look forward to the opportunity to get out of the house now.

SW LA hunting was stellar first split.

S. Terrebonne had a weird season. Great Saturday hunts, but slower on Sunday.

MS Delta was spotty but the green showed up late.

Overall I would give this season a 7/10

Pretty much a total bust. No birds, shitty weather, no water where I wanted it and then too much water. Couldn't seem to make a hunt without oversleeping, getting shite on by other hunters, or forgetting something. Just wasn't meant to be this year. Still had a blast when I did get to go. Next year I'll be in a totally new part of the country so hopefully I'll have a few more birds.

Pretty poor for the most part. I did have a couple of great hunts on Wednesday & Thursday down at the Coastal Club. Yesterday was the most ducks I've ever seen in the marsh. At least the season went out with a bang.

Been pretty good for me considering I will only get to make about 18 hunts. I'm sitting at 64 thru 16 hunts right now. My best season in a while but that's mainly due to the fact that Ive hunted more this yr. I've hunted public and private.

Good year, much better than last year. Also, after duck hunting for 20+ years, I killed my first banded green head. Was pretty excited about that.
Still have 1 more hunt tomorrow!
