Cameron has been LSU OC for exactly one recruiting cycle. What better alternative was he supposed to invent?

Jamarcus Russell was not the QB in 2004 that he was in 2006.
Matt Flynn was not the QB in 2005 that he was in 2007.
Zach Mettenberger was not the QB in 2011 that he was in 2013.

Proper QB development takes years. I would love to know the alternative that you'd like to bring in who would be better prepared to develop ours than the guy who mentored George freakin' Whitfield.

I don't think i've been clear enough in this thread. In no way do I think CC should be on any hotseat at all. All of our offensive problems squarely rest on the shoulders of Les Miles and the laughable excuses we've had to hear about why we don't have a qb from "Ryan Perriloux set us back 4 yrs, to Zach Lee screwed us, to Gunner Kiel not having a chest" are completely a joke. To think that our offensive trouble this year had anything to do with CC if funny.

I don't see the joke, maybe you can help with that.

Do you think the coaching staff would rather have started Perrilloux, Lee, and Kiel from 2008-14 or Jefferson, Lee, Mettenberger, and Jennings?
