You grew up to be this?! Kid kills himself or goes back and makes me a baller. Hmm.

Yes, that's another group. Chicks that walk around in raggedy velour tracksuits or sweats but carrying around $800 handbags.
I'm just glad the popular trend of rolling out of bed and leaving the house in your pj pants and torn t-shirts seemed to subside.

But they just seem so prevalent. I know some people watch the biker/low rider shows & Duck Dynasty to laugh at them, but some are taking fashion tips and lifestyle advice.

The Democrat Party and their demise of elected officials in Louisiana.

You care a lot about clothes.
Are you a fashion designer?
To answer, I thought that hot cars would be dead by now.
Glad I was wrong...

As a guy who was a kid in the 50s and 60s I am sure that I would be absolutely blown away by the fact that people carried around an iPhone that could call anywhere in the world and could get on the internet that could give me an instant answer to just about any question that may arise.
I am sure that I would have been amazed by the fact that the computer in that phone has more power than the computers that took man to the moon.
I never imagined that I would be carrying around such a device. And I view it as both a blessing and a curse.

Well I'm a woman, so yeah. But I also read a book a few years ago that talked about how a person traveling in time from the 1900s to the 1950s would be astounded and amazed at all the advances we as a society had made, but that someone traveling from the 1950s to the 2000s would not be nearly as shocked. But the author brought up the idea that one major thing that would surprise that second time traveler would be the way particularly men dress. In the 50s middle class men wore suits to work, hats, always carried handkerchiefs, etc. Only boys wore shorts, and t-shirts were worn under dress shirts. Nowadays my husband travels for work & his coworkers pack nothing but t's and shorts for their off time. Mind you, they're going to decent restaurants in foreign countries like that.

Yeah, I think hands down the smart phone has to be the winner. I remember as a kid having the brilliant idea in the late 80s of a digital phone book that would be like a little word processor next to your home telephone, where you could type in the inquiry and it would give you the phone number of whoever you were trying to get.
Hell, just the fact that long distance calls are free would have blown my mind. I remember being excited when the 10-10-321 etc numbers came out. Wow! Ten cents a minute for a long distance call? I could call friends who had moved away & talk 20 minutes & it would only cost $2!
