I have always thought it was overpriced for what it offered. Nothing really different or extraordinary.

Not sure if it is prestigious, but if you don't buy from an outlet, their stuff is good quality.

Their non iron dress shirts are really the only thing I wear. If you catch the deals, they are well worth the money in my opinion

I have gone in their stores and not been blown away by anything they offer. It's pretty pedestrian for what they put on the price tags.

It's still good, there are just a lot of really good menswear companies now. The outlet quality has declined, like they're basically producing shittier versions specifically for the outlets (they might be, but I don't think it was always like this).

I like Orvis sports shirts and pants better than BB now, get a lot of my casual stuff from more rugged companies like Patagonia, Filson or Mountain Khakis, etc. I like Peter Millar better for almost everything BB does.

For years I couldn't find a dress shirt alternative, but Roundtree and Yorke Gold (Dillards in house top label) works well and saves me about 30 bucks per white/blue staple.

All that said, I still purchase it, I just don't seek it out as my first choice as much.

I still like their shirts. Their white button down oxford is the only shirt I wear to court. They also still have a pretty good selection of bow ties.

its definitely faded, lots of competition. bespoke is where its at for the money. guy comes to your house, measures you, sends shite to india about 2 months later you get a nice bespoke suit.

I have never been a fan, I find the suits make you look fat and aren't that fashionable. they are timeless though, and good quality.

I am a fan of their slim fit long sleeve button down shirts...haven't bought much else from them.

If it has an outlet store it is probably not prestigious.

That doesn't mean it isn't good quality, but I think you are paying for the name.

Their no-iron shirts are worthy, they bake in some chemical into them (or so I was told), plus, they stay new looking forever.

I wouldn't call it prestigious

Despite what Cades said, even their outlet stuff holds up well. Randy has worn their polos two years in a row with no holes and no fricked up collar

obviously not in the elite tier, but good for the money, if not slightly overpriced

Only thing I have bought from BB was a light sweater. Had a hole in the shoulder where the seam came apart within 3 months. Never bought anything from there again. Anecdotal obviously, but it is my experience.
